Vendor evidence maps for dependency reviews

Vendor reviews need more than an incident count. StatusPulse maps each dependency's official status, service-health, support, and policy sources; identifies missing or short-lived evidence; and calculates incident metrics only from sources whose documented terms or written permission allow that use.

A provenance-first workflow

1. Name the dependency and business decision.
2. Locate the provider's official status, support, service-health, and policy sources.
3. Check whether documented terms allow automated commercial analysis.
4. For enabled sources, retain only identifiers, normalized status, timestamps, stable product or location identifiers, and official links.
5. State coverage gaps and keep vendor-reported evidence separate from independent uptime, SLA, security, or causal analysis.

What the evidence contains

The automated dataset is fail-closed. At launch it includes only Atlassian and Google Cloud, whose official documentation describes supported public integration paths. Other providers remain disabled unless their published terms clearly permit the use or written permission is obtained. Provider narratives and raw feed objects are not stored or resold.

Limitations

Public status pages are provider-authored disclosures, not independent measurements. Coverage windows and schemas vary. This service is not real-time status, synthetic monitoring, an uptime guarantee, breach history, compliance evidence, a security score, or causal attribution.

Source rights and attribution

• StatusPulse calculations and normalized records are independently produced from the cited official sources.
• Each record retains an exact official incident permalink.
• StatusPulse is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Atlassian or Google.
• The dataset is historical research material, not a real-time monitoring or outage-alerting service.
• Source incident identifiers and factual service-health fields are attributed to Google Cloud through each official incident link.
